The SWATCOM radio accessories are modular in the design, which allows you to select the right headset and accessories to fit your application. The versatile design allows you to go from using an increased noise ear defender headset, to a throat microphone with earpiece, when working with face masks or taking in apparatus. Alternatively, lightweight ruggedized headsets can be used with fre, marine and other helmets.
All this can be achieved without having to change your PTT/radio interface. Simply choose the radio lead relevant on the radio you are using, along with the PTT (Press-to-Talk) type, then choose either a headset or throat mic with earpiece, to suit you
The SWATCOM 1 can be an intrinsically safe, totally waterproof and dust tight Press-to-Talk (PTT) move. The unique âQuick-Releaseâ connector allows the PTT to be attached to several SWATCOM communication devices.
This adaptability allows the identical system to be tailored for a speciï¬c user workplace environment or operational needs. The PTT can be conï¬gured to suit virtually any portable two-way radio and is supplied with the radio lead to suit your speciï¬c hand portable radio.

Normal manufacturing practice means you have to buy a complete headset along with the PTT (Press-to-Talk) challenging wired together. If you then want try using a Throat Microphone with Earpiece you might have to buy another complete system, again hard-wired to the PTT. This can show to be very costly.
As that SWATCOM headsets, throat microphone and earpieces are generally modular and interchangeable along with the PTT assembly, it enables greater ï¬exibility and for that reason signiï¬cantly helps reduce overall costs.
